Roses and Hydrangea

Roses and Hydrangea

The flowers were made from two of Pascale's kits. I love the color combination. The pot is card stock and trimmed with satin cord. I have added violet silk ribbons. I made a wood trellis, you can see it in the background and added some dried greenery that looks like fern in this scale. Still trying to learn more. Enjoy!

Summer blooms

I just finished this wicker planter filled with assorted hydrangea. I saw a similar one at the Sturbridge Show and fell in love.  I made the flowers from handmade paper and painted it with an assortment of water colors. I bought a sheet of printed leaves for the hydrangea. The small leaves are my papers and are similar to the flowers. I used a dusty rose waxed linen cord for the planter the base is heavy cardstock that was stained. I'll have more to show you in a few days. Enjoy your weekend!

Miniature Tulips

I've been learning to make miniature flowers. These are made with handmade papers and have been hand painted to give them a realistic feel. The tallest vase measures 2 inches. I'll be posting more soon!
Enjoy!
